Gastroenterology
Gastroenterologists are specialist physicians who care for patients with gastrointestinal disorders affecting the oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum and anus; as well as conditions affecting the liver, biliary system and pancreas. They provide consultation and follow up of patients with these conditions in conjunction with a primary care provider or General Practitioner. Gastroenterologists perform endoscopy, which involves examination of the gastrointestinal tract via the mouth or anus, enabling diagnosis of your presenting symptoms, as well as minimally invasive non-surgical treatment of some of these conditions.
Parking
Parking for patients and visitors is available at the rear of the hospital (entry via Carrara Street) in the new multistorey Pindara Hospital carpark. There are a number of two hour parking areas available at the front of the hospital.
